Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in Cook County, Georgia. Day to day you will watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; write and edit G-code programs at the control; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); load and index turning tools in the turret; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish. What we are looking for: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Full-time, day shift.
