You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Day-to-day duties: • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around £1,800 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
