Now hiring: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Nnewi North, Anambra State. You will work at a heating and plumbing contractor. Day-to-day duties: • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections Ideal candidate: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Driving licence for travel between sites Performance bonus on top of base pay.
