Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete placer in Kossuth County, Iowa. What we are looking for: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Day to day you will cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
