Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lorry driver in Lincolnshire, England. The job is at a haulage company. The role involves: • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off What we are looking for: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
