We are recruiting: port container crane operator (South Dakota)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Spink County, South Dakota. The job is in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. The role involves climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines. You should have: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Strong attention to safety and load limits Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
