Vacancy available: occupational health and safety officer (Maryland)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Washington County, Maryland. You will be based at a busy construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action You should have: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. We offer $3,600 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
