Cnc lathe setter • Trumbull County, Ohio

Join our team: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Trumbull County, Ohio. You will be based at a busy machine shop. You should have: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls Your main tasks: • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
