Urgent requirement: gas meter installer (Louisiana)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas meter installer in West Feliciana Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a boiler and appliance service centre. What we are looking for: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Able to read isometric and site drawings Day to day you will read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
