Concrete labourer • Bolivar County, Mississippi

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Bolivar County, Mississippi. You will be based with a civil contractor. On a typical shift you will pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate. Ideal candidate: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites Six days a week, one day off. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
