Now hiring: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Conejos County, Colorado. You will work on residential and apartment building sites. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces The role involves fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
