Urgent requirement: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Washington Parish, Louisiana. The job is on a busy civils and groundworks site. On a typical shift you will grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble. You should have: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
