Automotive paint technician — Scotland County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in Scotland County, Missouri. You will be based at a dealership paint shop. Requirements: • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale The role involves wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels; bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint; mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
