Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Newton County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing You should have: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
