Garment presser — Obot Akara

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a garment presser in Obot Akara, Akwa Ibom State. You will be based in a garment export house. On a typical shift you will use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments. You should have: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
