Double glazing installer — Southeastern Connecticut Planning Region

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a double glazing installer in Southeastern Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. You will work at a glass and aluminium factory. The role involves handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame; apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass; cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers; clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film; grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris; read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts. Requirements: • Own basic hand tools an advantage • Physically fit, able to stand and lift throughout the shift 1+ years on the tools preferred. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
