Immediate opening: we are hiring a punch press operator in Lawrence County, Arkansas. You will work in a sheet metal stamping unit. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes Day to day you will operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
