Vacancy available: we are hiring a CNC mill setter-operator in Ashe County, North Carolina. Ideal candidate: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T On a typical shift you will set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $3,600 per month plus benefits.
