Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete worker in City of Fredericksburg, Virginia. Requirements: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules Day-to-day duties: • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing 5+ years on the tools preferred.
