Natural gas fitter — Franklin Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Franklin Parish, Louisiana. Ideal candidate: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion On a typical shift you will test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
