Stamping press operator • Hinds County, Mississippi

Immediate opening: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Hinds County, Mississippi. Day to day you will punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed. You should have: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
