Carpenter wanted in Elk County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a carpenter in Elk County, Kansas. You will work on a commercial fit-out site. On a typical shift you will build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
