CNC milling operator — Northeastern Connecticut Planning Region

We are recruiting: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Northeastern Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. You will work in a die and mould making unit. You should have: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Day to day you will select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
