Argon welder wanted in Jefferson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Jefferson County, Montana. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Your main tasks: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal What we are looking for: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Full-time, day shift.
