Structural MIG welder • Alleghany County, North Carolina

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Alleghany County, North Carolina. You will be based at a busy production line. You should have: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Willing to work shifts and overtime The role involves: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator 5+ years on the tools preferred.
