Steel fixing chargehand — Barry County

Now hiring: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Barry County, Michigan. Day-to-day duties: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers Requirements: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
