Dumper truck operator • Broome County, New York

Great opportunity: we are hiring a dumper truck operator in Broome County, New York. The job is in an open-cast mine. On a typical shift you will check for underground cables and services before digging; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; stockpile and spread material to the required levels; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket. Requirements: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster We offer $19 per hour plus benefits.
