Safety inspector • Rimin Gado, Kano State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety inspector in Rimin Gado, Kano State. You will be based at a busy construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites Full-time, day shift.
