Reach truck operator • Pamlico County, North Carolina

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a reach truck operator in Pamlico County, North Carolina. You will work at a container loading yard. The role involves: • Carry out pre-shift checks on the forks, tyres, mast and hydraulics • Read the load capacity plate and never exceed the rated lift limit • Position the forks square and tilt the mast to secure the load • Assist with stock takes and cycle counting • Top up the hydraulic oil and grease the mast chains • Load and unload pallets from trucks and shipping containers Requirements: • Accurate, careful stock handling • Good awareness of load stability and health and safety Rotating shifts. $29 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
