Urgent requirement: we are hiring a smash repairer in Los Angeles County, California. You will be based at a paint and panel shop. The role involves read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates; treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection; straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains; pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder; mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour; replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers. You should have: • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
