Urgent requirement: quality checker (Kentucky)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a quality checker in Mercer County, Kentucky. The job is at a food processing unit. What we are looking for: • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping Your main tasks: • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts Six days a week, one day off.
