Aluminium TIG welder wanted in Essex

Join our team: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Essex, England. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Day-to-day duties: • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec You should have: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
