Great opportunity: we are hiring a MIG welder in Webster County, Missouri. You will be based in a heavy engineering unit. What we are looking for: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test On the job you will handle: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch Six days a week, one day off. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
