Vacancy available: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Clearwater County, Minnesota. The job is at a busy production line. Day to day you will lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Part-time with flexible hours. $3,500 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
