We are recruiting: we are hiring a MIG welder in Maries County, Missouri. You will be based at a busy production line. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings The role involves change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
