Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Bates County, Missouri. The job is at an infrastructure construction site. Your main tasks: • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking You should have: • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing Full-time, day shift.
