Great opportunity: stainless steel welder (Colorado)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Crowley County, Colorado. The job is on an industrial construction site. What we are looking for: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection On the job you will handle: • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
