Access scaffolder — City of Galax

Immediate opening: we are hiring an access scaffolder in City of Galax, Virginia. The job is on a bridge maintenance job. Requirements: • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • CISRS card or local equivalent at Part 1 / Part 2 level • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns On a typical shift you will install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts; handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out; hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope; erect debris netting, sheeting and brick guards; lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips; plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Share your details and we will call you back.
