Stainless steel welder — Walker County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Walker County, Texas. On the job you will handle: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle What we are looking for: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
