Power press operator • Schoolcraft County, Michigan

Vacancy available: we are hiring a power press operator in Schoolcraft County, Michigan. Your main tasks: • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed What we are looking for: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
