Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar worker in Bland County, Virginia. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Your main tasks: • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions You should have: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Pay around $30 per hour, based on your experience.
