Urgent requirement: we are hiring a long-haul driver in Dawes County, Nebraska. You will work at a busy distribution depot. Day-to-day duties: • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock Requirements: • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Current Driver CPC qualification card At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
