Argon arc welder — Putnam County

Now hiring: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Putnam County, Tennessee. The role involves: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent Ideal candidate: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Rotating shifts.
