Now hiring: horizontal milling machine operator (Kansas)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Smith County, Kansas. Your main tasks: • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing Ideal candidate: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift Pay around $4,400 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
