Immediate opening: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Carroll County, Illinois. The role involves install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations; seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant; fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors; prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
