Immediate opening: we are hiring a MIG welder in Decatur County, Indiana. You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding On the job you will handle: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
