You should have: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings The role involves: • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press Performance bonus on top of base pay.
