Great opportunity: we are hiring a cement mason in Acadia Parish, Louisiana. You will be based on a high-rise slab pour. The role involves lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish. You should have: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods Full-time with occasional weekends.
