Finishing presser wanted in Chester County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a finishing presser in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Day-to-day duties: • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics Pay around $4,500 per month, based on your experience.
