Immediate opening: we are hiring a furniture maker in Hertford County, North Carolina. You will work in a cabinet-making workshop. Day to day you will build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours. Requirements: • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Own basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings Pay around $210 per day, based on your experience.
